Pedagogical Yearbook

The aim of the journal is to integrate the pedagogical research in Poland. It is done through annual presentation of achievements of individual research institutions and publication of dissertations of methodological character. The Yearbook is a synthetic informational and critical review, concerning the most important events which take place in the educational reality and an attempt to critically analyse the direction of the conducted research and postulates concerning their reorientation. The Yearbook, therefore, is supposed to be an expression of self-knowledge of pedagogy as a scientific discipline. The journal poses questions about the condition of pedagogical sub-disciplines and of scientific environments creating them. It also presents a deepened picture of the achievements of the Polish pedagogical thought. At the same time it is a testimony of comprehensive organizational, educational, reforming activity of the Committee of Pedagogical Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences and other research centres and institutions.
